I rang in the new year in my PJ’s with my 10 year old daughter last night. I celebrated today by working outside planting, digging and hauling. I’ve made some gardening resolutions, and one is to take more pictures of my garden. In fact, I’m starting “A Year in the Backyard” photo series on my Flickr account.
My goal is to take a picture every day, but that probably won’t happen. I would love to have a daily record of what things look like in my gardens, but I have to be realistic too.
For your viewing pleasure, here is the first photo in the series:
When I bought these two tiny plants at the garden center a few years ago, I had no idea they would be so colorful throughout the year. This is ‘Tiny Tim’ euphorbia. They really put on a show!
