If you are an active member, you may notice that the dashboard and user interface when you login look completely different. I decided to go ahead and update my version of WordPress to the latest version which offers more features, easier updates and easier plugin installation. The front-end of the site hasn’t really changed.
Some notable differences are the missing gallery and discussion forums. While I still intend to keep this as a community site for gardeners/bloggers, there are far too many discussion forums and picture gallery sites available. I have changed the focus of the site somewhat, and I don’t have the extra available hours to administer a discussion forum or a gallery. You are still welcome to set up an account for blogging. You are welcome to join the Flickr group and post your gardening pictures there (link forthcoming).
I hope these updates will make this site easier to use and administer in the future.
