I will be moving to another state by June of this year so my habitat project is on hold until I get into a new house. While the new location will not have the available land I have now, I still have a goal to turn whatever piece of the earth I have into a critter-friendly space.
I will be taking some of my perennials that I planted in the last couple of years, and leaving some behind for whomever moves into my house. I don’t plan on planting anymore perennials until after the move. The move will be bitter-sweet. I am looking forward to starting a new adventure in a new city, but I will be letting go of a piece of land that has been in my family for several generations.
