After a couple of very dry and very hot weeks, it has finally begun to rain a little. A thunderstorm blew up this afternoon, and has slowed down to a good soak. Finally!
Watering has been a constant in my life the last month, and as much as I enjoy gardening, watering is NOT my favorite chore. I would rather pull weeds! I’m sure the pumpkins and sunflowers will be most appreciative of a good, long drink.
While the rain is doing the watering, I think I’ll take a late afternoon nap… See you next time!
